Ah Nuala, How blessed I feel to have had the gift of spending some time with you, when I visited in October for an Ursuline reunion. I felt at home as soon as I walked through your door - and what a joy to discover that we'd walked similar paths and could fall into such easy intimate exchange. A seamless reconnection. You reminding me of those awkward teenage parties and the relief of finding each other to talk to! Memories of sharing a tent on the Ivy Lodge youth club trip to Germany! Our older selves laughing and acknowledging the importance of finding someone on the same wavelength. And feeling it still. Fifty years on. Thank you Nuala. For your depth and knowing. Your honesty and joy. What a shock to learn you'd gone so soon. And what an affirmation of the strength of heart connection beyond and through time.
